## Synopsis

In Boqueirão, one of the most populous neighborhoods of Curitiba, young Fernando works with his father Lau on a telegram service car called Coração de Neon. Together they dream of taking the car to the United States. After a performance that ends tragically, Fernando's life changes completely and he begins a wild journey full of twists in pursuit of his dreams.

## About the Director

Lucas Estevan Soares was born on July 24, 1990 in Curitiba, Brazil. He grew up in the Boqueirão neighborhood — the same setting as Coração de Neon. He started in performing arts at age 16, transitioned to filmmaking, and won Best Actor at the Musa D'Argento festival in Italy in 2016. Coração de Neon is his debut feature film.
